Senior Project Engineer (Civil / Architectural) | Data Centre & Cable Landing Station Projects

This role focuses on civil, structural, and building works covering design coordination, site execution, and contractor management.
You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure construction activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both design coordination and hands-on site involvement in a fast-growing infrastructure environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and coordinate civil and architectural design works for Cable Landing Station / Data Centre projects
- Review and validate civil, structural, and architectural drawings to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
- Oversee site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to approved designs
- Coordinate with M&E teams to ensure seamless integration of building and services works
- Develop and monitor project schedules, work programmes, and key milestones
- Conduct site inspections and review contractor submissions, materials, and method statements
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities on design approvals and site matters
- Support feasibility studies, site assessments, and cost estimation for civil and building works
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues to maintain project progress
- Manage variation orders, design changes, and as-built documentation, ensuring contractual compliance
What you should have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, data centre or building of outside plants
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural works
- Experience in site supervision and contractor coordination
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction details
- Familiarity with local authority submissions and building regulations is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage on-site technical challenges
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Salary: RM 8000 – RM 10000
