Position Title: Senior Project Engineer
Snapshot Of The Role
To lead and coordinate construction and renovation projects for food manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance, safety, and smooth integration into operations.
You Are Driven To
- Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project management of food factory construction and renovation works.
- Review and interpret architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and resource planning.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality execution.
- Regulatory Compliance & Submissions
- Ensure compliance with all local authority and statutory requirements (e.g., MBSA, BOMBA, DOE, JKKP, HACCP, HALAL, GMP).
- Manage timely submission and follow-up of approvals (e.g., building plans, CF, utilities).
- Site Supervision & Safety
- Oversee site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety practices, and work schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and risk assessments.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, QA, OSHE, and Maintenance teams to ensure project alignment with factory operational requirements.
- Facilitate smooth transition from project to operation phase.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, variation orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present status updates to management and stakeholders
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 5+ years experience in construction/project management, preferably in food or industrial facilities
- Strong knowledge of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Familiar with local authority regulations (e.g., MBSA, BOMBA, DOE, JKKP) and food industry standards (e.g., HACCP, HALAL, GMP)
- Skilled in project planning, cost estimation, and site supervision
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams (Production, QA, OSHE, Maintenance)
- Proficient in documentation, reporting, and handling project submissions and approvals
