Senior Project Engineer (Selangor)

Responsibilities

1. Monitor project quality plan, work program, and assist Project Manager in monitoring project cash flow & progressive claim preparation
2. Provide oversight in managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project lifecycle and ensure owner's expectations are met
3. Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor construction works at site, ensuring compliance with company rules & regulations
4. Prepare quantities for variation order works and quotations
5. Ensure installation, servicing, and maintenance works follow contract drawings and specifications
6. Attend site progress, coordination, safety meetings, and inspections
7. Attend valuation of progress claims with clients and/or consultants
8. Ensure smooth transition of project operations to Project Managers
9. Identify new business opportunities within existing customer portfolio
10. Monitor subcontractor manpower and ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment
11. Manage material storage arrangements
12. Verify specifications of equipment and machinery
13. Ensure sufficient manpower for project execution
14. Source suppliers for project-related equipment and machinery
15. Design instrument control systems and review with Project Manager
16. Ensure adherence to design codes and safety practices

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
2. 3-5 years experience in M&E building services or related fields
3. Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001 (advantage)
5. Self-motivated, team player, proactive, good communication skills
