Serve as a key technical and project focal point for the planning, design, and execution of solar projects.
Lead end-to-end project engineering and management activities, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved technical specifications, schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review, coordinate, and validate solar PV engineering designs, including layouts, single-line diagrams, electrical calculations, and technical submissions.
Oversee site execution, including site assessments, construction supervision, installation works, testing, commissioning, and system energisation.
Lead and coordinate testing, commissioning, and performance verification to ensure system reliability and operational readiness.
Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive technical and project documentation, including design reports, method statements, as-built drawings, test reports, and compliance records.
Act as the primary technical interface between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth project execution.
Provide technical input and leadership during tender and bid stages, including technical proposal preparation, scope review, and evaluation support.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in solar energy or associated fields.
Familiarity with the latest electricity laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Strong hands-on experience in technical solar engineering and project management, including design review, site execution, and commissioning.
Able to work independently as a key technical contributorwhile effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
