Job Description

The Senior Project Executive is responsible for end-to-end management of WORQ's outlet fit-out projects, outlet revamps, and customized enterprise workspace solutions. This role owns the full project lifecycle — from tender briefing and contractor appointment through construction supervision, authority approvals, and formal handover — ensuring delivery on scope, within budget, and to quality standards.

Beyond project delivery, this role acts as the single intake point for all new workspace-related requests across WORQ's outlet network, triaging and routing them to the right function. It also contributes to the enterprise side by acting as a workplace strategist — advising clients on workspace solutions, supporting pitching, and developing scalable design playbooks for consistent quality across WORQ's growing network.

Job Responsibilities

I) Project management and execution:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for new outlet openings and outlet revamps — from development of project briefs, budgets, and schedules through contractor appointment, site supervision, and handover.
  • Manage customised workspace projects for enterprise clients, providing cost estimates and timelines and coordinating delivery across relevant internal teams.
  • Source, appoint, and manage interior designers, consultants, and contractors for design and build contracts; enforce submission deadlines and manage contractor performance throughout.
  • Prepare and assist with tender documentation, quotation evaluation, and value engineering to ensure projects are delivered within budget without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building, authority, and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain a design playbook for scalable operations and consistent quality control across WORQ outlets.

II) Work Request Intake And Triage

  • Serve as the single intake point for all new workspace-related requests across the outlet network. Assess each request and route accordingly — retaining fit-out and modification works within the project function, and directing maintenance repairs and IT requirements to the respective teams.
  • Ensure no work request falls through the gap between project, facilities, and IT functions.

III) Client And Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with clients, contractors, Building Management Offices, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Act as a workplace strategist for enterprise clients — consulting on workspace requirements, advising on layout and design, and supporting the preparation of pitching materials and proposals to secure new contracts.

V) Authority And Building Management Coordination

  • Liaise with Building Management Offices on all project-related matters including drawing submissions, permit applications, and construction access coordination.
  • Ensure all authority submissions, regulatory approvals, and post-completion documentation are completed and properly archived.
  • Research and recommend appropriate equipment and furniture selections that balance user experience, durability, and ease of maintenance.

V) Miscellaneous

  • To perform other additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing interior fit-out projects in commercial or office environments. Residential interior design experience will not be considered.
  • Candidates with a Mechanical & Electrical background are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently — on scope, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Experience managing contractors through the full tender-to-handover cycle, including value engineering and authority submission processes.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
