We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead robotics and automation projects from planning through deployment. In this role, you will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative automation solutions across multiple projects.
The key responsibilities includes:
- Lead end-to-end execution of robotics and automation projects across Asia, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, driving alignment, communication and execution excellence.
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets and resource allocation
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments and status reports
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, software)
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Drive technical decision-making aligned with business goals
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Monitor progress and ensure high-quality, predictable project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
- 10+ years of project management experience (including 8+ years in robotics/automation such as AMRs/AGVs)
- Strong understanding of robotics systems, control systems, and software development
- Proven track record of delivering complex, technical projects successfully
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with robotics hardware and software integration
- Proficiency with project management and data/reporting tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and structured project planning practices
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and organizational skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to fast-paced environments
- Will be required to travel to customer locations; domestic and overseas as and when required.
