To lead and deliver complex multi-disciplinary energy infrastructure projects (PV, BESS, grid interconnection/PMU, transmission), ensuring achievement of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets, while securing approvals, ensuring compliance, and driving successful commissioning and project close-out.
Responsible for the end-to-end management, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring all activities comply with safety, quality, timeline, and statutory requirements to meet stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and energisation, ensuring achievement of scope, schedule, cost, quality, HSE, performance targets, and regulatory compliance (including TNB requirements).
- Develop and manage integrated project plans (WBS, schedule, cost baseline, resources, interfaces), including risk management, mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards through implementation of QA/QC processes, site safety plans, permits, and hazard assessments (e.g. HAZID/HAZOP).
- Oversee project governance, reporting (daily to monthly), and contract administration, ensuring effective stakeholder coordination and timely issue resolution.
- Manage technical delivery of PV, BESS, and grid interconnection works, including design, procurement, installation, system integration, and performance optimisation in line with engineering standards and project requirements.
- Lead grid compliance and interconnection activities, including required studies, approvals, protection schemes, SCADA integration, and coordination with TNB for testing and energisation.
- Oversee development of permanent site infrastructure and ensure readiness for operations.
- Drive commissioning and handover activities, ensuring performance validation, documentation completeness, and successful project close-out.
