Based in Ara Damansara
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with over 8 years of hands-on EPCC experience in Solar PV project management to lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects across Malaysia. This role is based in Ara Damansara and requires regular travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Solar PV projects under the EPCC delivery model
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from engineering, procurement, construction, testing to commissioning
- Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and resource allocation
- Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Interface and coordinate with TNB, SEDA, local councils, authorities, and relevant government agencies on permits, approvals, and compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, technical issues, and construction challenges
- Ensure achievement of project milestones, contractual obligations, and quality standards
- Lead and support contract negotiations, manage variations, claims, and cost control
- Prepare and present weekly project progress, risk, and cost reports to management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil preferred)
- 58 years experience managing EPCC Solar PV projects, with strong exposure to C&I or utility-scale projects
- Solid understanding of Malaysia solar regulations, EPCC contracts, TNB / SEDA processes, and site execution practices
- Proficient in MS Project or equivalent project planning software
- Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary project teams and site operations
- Willingness to be based in Ara Damansara and travel frequently to project sites
- Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills
