About The Position
Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a customer-facing Senior Project Manager (non-management position) reporting to the Manager of Crew Implementation in our Singapore location. As the selected candidate, you will successfully manage multiple customer software implementation projects across the Asia Pacific region through effective planning, scheduling and controlling. Travel is expected, both between company offices globally, as well as to various customer locations.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage customer software implementation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while adapting to Jeppesen's best practices framework.
- Scrum Master and Agile Practices: Act as Scrum Master for project teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile principles to improve collaboration and delivery.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across departments, vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation and support while driving the adoption of Project Management best practices.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain project progress.
- Scope and Change Management: Monitor and manage project scope to minimize scope creep, utilizing change management procedures to capture additional work and ensure proper billing.
- Communication: Effectively communicate project updates, progress, and expectations to internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications / Competencies (Required)
- 3 to 5 years of external customer project management experience.
- Experience managing moderate complex software implementation projects.
- Proficiency in Scrum/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
- Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies (Desired)
- Bachelor's degree or higher with degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Science & Technology or equivalent
- Aviation industry experience, ideally in crew planning solutions.
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent.
