Senior Project Manager- Industrial Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Project Department (Project Engineers, Procurement Engineers, DOE Engineers, Site Supervisors).
• Manage projects end-to-end from kick-off to completion and handover.
• Ensure projects meet targets for timeline, budget, and quality.
• Supervise and control site activities and overall project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Attend site, weekly, and monthly meetings; resolve issues proactively.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
• Maintain accurate and updated project documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs/WIs, ISO 9001, DOE, DOSH, CIDB, safety, and authority regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder relationships.
• Plan and optimize resource utilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Background & Skills:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years managing industrial projects (air handling, HVAC, industrial equipment/machinery).
• Skills: Strong project planning/execution across multiple projects; communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus); proficiency in MS Project, CAD, Google Drive, and ERP systems; action- and results-oriented; able to travel.
