Bright Symphony Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be site-based across various project locations, leading and manage project operations from commencement through completion
Job Description
- Lead, oversee, and support Site Supervisors and site teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor work progress to meet project timelines, quality standards, and cost expectations.
- Liaise closely with project managers, consultants, clients, adjusters, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables.
- Review site work plans, schedules, and resource requirements to ensure the right manpower, equipment, and materials are allocated.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with building codes and compliance requirements.
- Review and verify site documentation including daily reports, progress claims, material usage, and variation orders.
- Proactively identify risks, delays, or technical issues and implement solutions; escalate critical issues to project managers where necessary.
- Ensure workmanship quality meets project specifications and client expectations.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to Site Supervisors and site workers.
Skills and qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction/ Structural/ Building or equivalent field.
- At least 7-8 years of experience in Structural and Architectural
- Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
- Possess own transport to travel to Construction Site.
- Able to use Microsoft Work, Excel, Power Point, Project and AUTO-CAD.
- Good team player to communicate with key stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
