Title: Senior Publishing Manager, FC Online SEA
Location: Singapore/Kuala Lumpur
Language: English and Vietnamese (preferred)
Reports to: Senior Director, Asia Publisher Experiences
Hybrid: 3 days/week in office
Role Overview
The Senior Publishing Manager, FC Online SEA will own the publishing performance of FC Online (FCO) across Vietnam and Thailand, in close partnership with Garena. Vietnam represents 90% of the FCO SEA business, and this role will serve as EA's in-region expert and the primary voice of the Vietnamese FCO community internally.
As the SEA market owner for FCO, this person will translate regional strategy into local execution, influence partner priorities, and ensure seamless collaboration across studio, publisher, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue, player value, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Ownership & Business Performance
- Own FCO publishing performance across Vietnam and Thailand
- Translate Asia FCO strategy into market-specific business and growth plans
- Define market priorities based on performance drivers and local insights
- Lead revenue forecasting, business planning, and reporting in partnership with Finance and Studio
- Identify and drive growth initiatives that maximize player value and long-term performance
- Partner Leadership
- Act as EA's primary counterpart to Garena for FCO SEA
- Drive alignment on long-term goals, business priorities, content roadmap, and execution plans
- Represent SEA market needs and influence partner decisions
- Enable efficient decision-making and clear communication across partner collaboration
- Voice of Market & Insights
- Serve as the in-region expert for Vietnamese and Thai FCO players
- Advocate for local community needs internally to influence feature development, content prioritization, and campaign planning
- Research and share competitor insights, market data, and best practices
- Educate EA stakeholders on the uniqueness and opportunity of SEA markets
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with the FC studio on publishing strategies, content alignment, and GTM planning
- Collaborate with the regional Publisher Marketing & Content team on campaign execution
- Engage with Finance, Legal, Insights, and other internal stakeholders to unblock execution
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in gaming, publishing, product management, or digital marketing
- Deep expertise in the Vietnamese gaming market and players (required)
- Experience working with publisher partners, ideally in F2P or live service games
- Track record of leading GTM or live service campaigns in SEA markets
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable with revenue forecasting and data-driven strategy
- Passion for sports (especially football) and live service gaming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to navigate a global matrixed organization
- Culturally sensitive collaborator with a proactive, ownership mindset
- Proficient in English and Vietnamese (required)
