The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior QA Analyst to join a large-scale Digital Projects team within a leading higher education institution. Supporting the delivery of enterprise digital initiatives across multiple business applications, websites, and platforms, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality outcomes through comprehensive testing across the software development lifecycle.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers in an Agile delivery environment, you will own the end-to-end quality assurance process, validating new features, system enhancements, integrations, and digital solutions to ensure reliable, user-focused releases. You'll also play a key role in strengthening testing practices and driving continuous improvement across the digital delivery portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for digital applications, websites, enterprise platforms, system enhancements, and integrations across multiple projects.
- Analyse business and functional requirements to develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria aligned with project objectives and delivery milestones.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring digital solutions meet business, technical, accessibility, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with development teams to validate fixes and minimise delivery risks.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple concurrent digital projects, providing regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and best practices, supporting a mature and collaborative Agile delivery culture.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven commercial experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or similar role delivering quality assurance across digital projects, enterprise applications, websites, or customer-facing platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and user acceptance testing within Agile delivery environments.
- Experience preparing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience testing integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, CMS platforms, or digital customer experiences is highly regarded.
- Malaysian Citizen or holder of a valid Malaysian Residence Pass Talent (RP-T). ISTQB Foundation certification or experience within higher education or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
