About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance activities for a strategic Salesforce Sales Cloud transformation programme. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise business processes, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and complex system integrations within large-scale transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will define and execute the QA strategy, ensuring high-quality delivery across Salesforce, SAP-integrated solutions, and other enterprise applications while working closely with business and technical stakeholders in a global Agile environment.
Project
A strategic business transformation programme focused on implementing a Territory Management solution using Salesforce Sales Cloud, leveraging the Sales Planning and Territory Planning capabilities.
As part of a broader SAP transformation landscape, the programme replaces a custom-built territory management application with Salesforce native functionality. The project involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, Salesforce consultants, SAP teams, and implementation partners across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall QA strategy for Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations.
- Establish risk-based testing approaches aligned with business priorities and project objectives.
- Validate complex enterprise business processes across Salesforce, SAP-integrated solutions, and other enterprise applications.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute: System Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Lead end-to-end business process validation across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.
- Identify quality risks early, facilitate defect triage sessions, and drive issue resolution across multiple teams and vendors.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, SAP teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.
- Provide quality reporting, testing metrics, and release readiness assessments.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement.
- Promote quality best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
Must Have
- 7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations.
- Recent Salesforce implementation experience (actively involved in a Salesforce implementation within the last 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, business processes, workflows, and security model.
- Extensive experience with integration testing, end-to-end testing, and enterprise business process validation.
- Proven experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale transformation or system implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes with the ability to assess quality risks and challenge requirements.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, business users, and process owners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed global teams.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments involving multiple vendors and international stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Planning and Territory Planning.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security models, including role hierarchy, sharing rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Test automation experience with an automation-first mindset.
- Experience validating data migration, data synchronization, reporting solutions, and complex business data.
- Exposure to SAP-integrated enterprise environments.
