About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Tbilisi. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital banking platforms through automated testing frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a modern automation infrastructure, and collaborate closely with developers, and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle.
- Implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases.
- Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers.
- Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage.
- Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow.
Requirements
- Professional experience in QA automation.
- Proven hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions,,).
- Solid understanding of software development and testing principles, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
- Experience using Bruno or Postman
- Experience testing React native on both Android and iOS helpful but not required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills.
- Proactive and adaptable — thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance or security testing tools.
- Background in fintech or digital banking helpful but not essential.
