Senior Quality Engineer

A fast-growing medical device manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer.

Your new company

My client is a growing medical device manufacturing company operating within a regulated quality environment and supplying products to local and international markets, located in Taiping (Perak). They are currently hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to support quality planning, inspection, and continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements, while driving investigation and resolution of quality issues.

Your new role

• Supporting quality planning, inspection activities, and batch record reviews for raw materials, in‑process, and finished products.
  
• Investigating quality issues, non-conformance, complaints, and supporting CAPA implementation and closure.
  
• Conducting GMP and cleanroom compliance checks and supporting internal and external audits.
  
• Analysing quality data and applying quality tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Training QC personnel and promoting quality awareness across production and support teams.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor Degree in science or engineering (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals, Food Science, or related disciplines)
  
• Solid experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices preferred)
  
• Good working knowledge of quality management systems, cleanroom controls, validation activities, and batch documentation
  
• Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) is a MUST.
  
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective cross-functional communication skills
