About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and commercial matters while supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.
What You Will Do
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, tender documents, and project cost analysis.
- Conduct quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Evaluate tenders, variation orders (VO), progress claims, subcontractor claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and implement cost control measures throughout project execution.
- Assist in contract administration, contractual correspondence, and project documentation.
- Manage variation orders (VO), claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on commercial and contractual matters.
- Attend project meetings and support overall project commercial management.
- Establish and improve commercial processes, contract administration workflows, and cost control SOPs to support business growth and operational efficiency.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction or building projects.
- Good knowledge of PAM, JKR, CIDB, and FIDIC contracts.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and contract documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in structured organizations and process improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Membership with BQSM/RISM will be an added advantages.
