Hiredly X is partnering with an established software solutions company to hire a Senior R&D Manager (Technology Pillar) to lead engineering excellence and drive the technical direction of multiple enterprise-scale products.
About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced technical leader with a strong software engineering background to shape architecture, mentor engineering managers, and lead the development of large-scale business platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for enterprise software products.
- Lead multiple software development teams and engineering managers.
- Drive technical excellence across architecture, code quality, CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
- Review complex technical designs and provide architectural guidance.
- Work closely with project management and leadership teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Coach and develop engineering leaders while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and make strategic technical decisions.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or system development.
- Proven hands-on software development background.
- At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams or software development managers.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Enterprise system architecture
- Cloud-based applications
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing
- Software design patterns
- Scalability and performance optimization
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale business systems such as ERP, POS, WMS, CRM, or similar platforms.
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly and challenge architectural decisions with credibility.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building or modernizing large-scale software platforms is highly advantageous.
- Experience working within software product companies.
- Background in ERP or enterprise business platforms.
- Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.
