Job Description

Lapasar is a prominent B2B wholesale platform that commenced its operations in 2018, initially targeting the corporate sector. Esteemed clients such as Telekom Malaysia, PETRONAS, and Tenaga Nasional Berhad rely on our platform to procure essential items for their day-to-day operational requirements, including laptops, projectors, office furniture, and more.

Recognizing the potential to expand our services, in 2020 we ventured into catering to Mom and Pop stores, enabling these small businesses to effortlessly order their supplies via our user-friendly app and platform. Presently, the FMCG wholesale segment forms the cornerstone of Lapasar's business and future growth. Our primary objective is to onboard over 100,000 Mom and Pop stores and restaurants throughout Malaysia onto our mobile app, simplifying their daily stock ordering process and making it exceedingly convenient.

Basic Salary : RM4000 - RM4500

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the hiring needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with internship requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all stakeholders.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and background verifications for selected candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking dashboard and fulfill the position within the deadline according to the requirement from time to time.
  • Provide timely and professional communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process, keeping them informed of their application status.
  • Support the onboarding process for selected candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team on other hiring initiatives and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in mass recruitment or talent acquisition internally and externally is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in candidate tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
