What we are looking for

We're hiring an experienced and customer-focused Senior Regional Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations across Singapore and other APAC countries.

Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery while driving compliance, process quality, and strong stakeholder relationships across the region. The successful candidate will possess solid regional payroll knowledge, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage both hands-on processing and vendor oversight effectively.

What you'll do

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Singapore, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Liaise with and oversee external payroll vendors for other countries, reviewing outputs and ensuring SLAs are met
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements across all markets
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve payroll SOPs and process documentation across the region
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and automate payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
  • Conduct periodic payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Stay updated with payroll best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes across the region

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of experience in payroll, with strong hands-on end-to-end processing for Singapore
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations, CPF, and IRAS statutory requirements
  • Experience working with or managing external payroll vendors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Proficiency in payroll software/systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret payroll data accurately
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and data management
  • Exposure to payroll in other countries, especially Taiwan, Japan, and Korea would be highly advantageous
