Job Description

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients, ensuring their financial needs are met through a comprehensive range of banking products and services.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the CBBC segment to expand the client base and increase market share.
  • * Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on clients to assess creditworthiness and propose suitable financing solutions.
  • Structure and negotiate complex financing deals, including loans, trade finance, cash management, and other treasury products, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to cross-sell banking products and services, maximizing client profitability and wallet share.
  • Monitor and manage credit risk exposure of the client portfolio, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of potential issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular engagement, understanding their business objectives, and providing tailored financial advice.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals and business reviews to senior management and credit committees.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the corporate banking sector.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including AML/CFT requirements.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management, with a proven track record of managing and growing a client portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial products and services, including loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management.
  • Excellent credit analysis skills and ability to structure complex financing solutions.
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian corporate banking market and regulatory environment.
