As the Senior Retail Shopper Marketing Manager
, the person leads the strategic development and execution of shopper marketing initiatives to drive brand growth, enhance in-store effectiveness, and accelerate purchase conversion across the retail environment. On top of that, a key focus on people leadership where the person is responsible for the development of an in-store activation team to translate brand and commercial objectives into innovative and effective shopper marketing strategies.
This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and key customers, leveraging shopper insights to shape activation plans that align with our business goals.
What you will do:
- Drive and translate brand and commercial objectives into effective, data-driven shopper marketing plans that win at the point of purchase.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative shopper marketing strategies. Drive long-term strategic initiatives, including the Shopper Revolution program and the development of permanent POP solutions, to fundamentally elevate in-store presence.
- Act as the central lead for end-to-end stakeholder management, orchestrating collaboration between internal teams (Marketing, CD, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain) and external partners (Creative, GWP, Contest/Mechanic, Printing, and Co-packing agencies) to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Own and manage the master shopper activation calendar for all categories,, ensuring flawless and timely execution of all campaigns and initiatives across diverse retail environments.
- Lead the end-to-end management of the Shopper A&P and Premium budgets. Drive cost efficiency and maximize ROI by leading cost negotiations with agencies and procurement, ensuring effective resource allocation and rigorous financial tracking.
- Establish and drive a robust measurement framework to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all shopper marketing programs. Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns and continuously improve performance.
- Continuously monitor and analyze competitor activities, in-store execution, and shopper marketing trends. Share timely updates and actionable insights with internal stakeholders to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and proactively address challenges.
- Act as the key representative for the shopper marketing function, championing the team's work and strategy to senior leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum a Degree / Master's Degree, preferably in Business Management or Marketing Management
- Possess at least 7 years of Retail Marketing/ Trade Marketing experience in the FMCG sector
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and external stakeholders
- Experienced managing end-to-end campaign development and execution
- Strategic thinking with demonstrated project and budget management skills.
- Strong analytical, creative, and insights-driven mindset
- Strong and experienced in leading/managing commercial negotiation
