POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced candidate to drive day-to-day operations and provide leverage to transform our finance processes. This roles responsibilities will cover 6 countries across SE Asia, touching on all core areas of financial accounting plus managing/supporting ad hoc projects. To be successful, the individual should be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with various internal and external stakeholders. The right candidate will look to embed themselves into our diverse and experienced finance team, creating operational efficiencies.
WHAT YOULL DO
End-to-end Finance support for Client Projects
- Pricing and Contracting
- Support the SE Asia AR team inthe review of pricing and commercial terms(e.g. supportingrequests forproposals,MSAs, pricing negotiations, case team pricing and developingletters ofengagement)
- Pipeline & Revenue/AR Management
- Ensure timely pipelinemanagement and accurate recognitionof revenue
- Assist case managementwithpricing and price realizationquestions
- Engaging regularly with thestaffing team to align on team allocations
- Prepare invoices, ensure accurate recording, andmanagecollections
- Monitor pending AR and follow up as needed
- Work closelywithotherBainoffices onrevenue transfers
- Support with month-end revenue close and revenue transfer calculations
- Other ad hoc support as required
Processes and Improvements
- Critically review current processes, suggest improvements, and collaboratively implement improvements
- Undertake and support ad hoc projects, working alongside the team to implement changes while managing stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
- A Bachelor&aposs degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience (background in audit & assurance preferred)
- Track record of delivering work on time and zero defect; experience in a multi-geography/currency context preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and/or procedures
- Ability to analyze financial data and think critically
- Strong systems proficiency in Excel to synthesize data
- Ability to understand concepts and data flows while offering opinions and ideas for improvement
- Ability to learn financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Workday, Tableau)
- Meticulous and capable of working on multiple projects independently and as a team
- Flexible and adaptable to change with a passion for results
- An ethical individual who acts with high levels of integrity at all times
