Develop and implement a data-driven sales and marketing strategy that leverages online platforms and campaigns to drive brand awareness and student acquisition across local and international markets
Spearhead innovative branding initiatives and cross-channel marketing campaigns to build a strong institutional reputation and attract high-calibre students
Lead recruitment efforts for both local and international markets through strategic activities such as roadshows, career fairs, and course previews
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including new and existing local/overseas partners, in-country managers, agents, institutions, and internal teams
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the local and international student recruitment teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, formulate responsive strategies, and adjust business plans as needed
Collaborate with Heads of Academic to formulate student enrolment strategies that align with institutional budget targets
Drive results by achieving and exceeding student recruitment and revenue targets set for the financial year
Develop and execute an effective marketing and communications plan to meet recruitment goals and elevate the institution's visibility and positioning in line with the Strategic Plan
Address market challenges with practical and effective solutions, ensuring timely and appropriate implementation
Lead the department's operations by ensuring adequate staffing, capability development, and motivation to support departmental goals
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures, including data accuracy and confidentiality
Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently and effectively
Provide timely, accurate reporting on departmental performance, including quarterly updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
Deliver regular monthly and quarterly reports with insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Preferably at least 10 years of successful experience in sales and marketing within the private education sector, including relevant experience in Malaysia or comparable markets
Proven track record in implementing sales and marketing strategies that deliver growth and impact
Strong understanding of the education landscape and the evolving needs of international students in Malaysia and the region
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
