Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you you will be developing new business and expanding OEM market share in the region mainly in Penang Region (Northern) Malaysia as well support other SEA countries on demand Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines, except Singapore.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Robotic & Discrete Automation Business Area in Malaysia.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive regional sales across B&R's full product range by pursuing new opportunities, expanding customer base through target accounts, cold calling, enquiry generation, and marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve sales budgets at existing accounts through exceptional support, introduction of new/existing products and services, and by understanding customer requirements, market segments, and trends to deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Promote and sell new products, conduct technical trainings, hold in-depth presentations, negotiate and finalize deals, and coordinate with customers and internal teams for smooth execution.
  • Ensure timely dispatches, purchase orders, payments, and rentals maintain CRM entries, track after-sales support, organize workflow and meetings, and participate in brand promotion through exhibitions, seminars, and product demos.



Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Incumbent is required to have 3-5 years progressive customer service or direct marketing experience preferably in electrical /automation industry
  • Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to details, possessing a team working aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems
  • Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously, and have excellent in-terpersonal and communication skill to influence both internally and externally
  • Also have an excellent sense of priorities and exceptional phone and customer service skills
