We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships within our Cased Hole Services division. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and assigned clients, ensuring excellent service delivery while identifying new business opportunities and maximizing account profitability.
This position will be based in Kemaman, Terengganu.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned customer accounts to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify new business opportunities and promote the company's service capabilities.
- Conduct regular client visits to review service quality, understand operational needs, and provide timely support.
- Provide technical advice, recommendations, and best practices to customers.
- Work closely with Operations, Field Service Managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, monitor job pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Support tender submissions by providing technical input and participating in technical clarifications.
- Monitor customer issues and ensure prompt resolution and follow-up.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer business developments.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS), ISO standards, and HSSE policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, including:
- At least 4 years in E-line Sales & Technical Support, and
- 5 years as a Field Engineer within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of cased hole/wireline services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and grow customer accounts.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
