A multinational company in the Gaming & Entertainment industry is currently looking for a Senior Sales Executive/Assistant Manager to manage game-related product categories, oversee retail sales operations, and execute offline events across Malaysia. You will play a key role in driving product performance, managing retail partners, and supporting marketing activities aligned with global guidelines.
Job Description
- Support and manage existing retail partners, ensuring smooth operational execution
- Manage assigned game title(s) / product category and oversee overall market performance
- Provide retail partners with product updates, launch timelines, and sales coordination support
- Plan and execute offline events, community activities, and pop-up activations
- Identify and liaise with event venues, partners, and collaborators for event execution
- Develop strong understanding of assigned products, including trends and consumer behaviour
- Monitor product sales performance and provide timely reporting to global headquarters
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and product performance
Job Requirements
- Strong interest in gaming, hobby products, or collectible categories (e.g. card games, tabletop games, etc.)
- Solid understanding of gaming/hobby communities, products, and market trends is highly preferred
- Experience in gaming, retail, distribution, or event management is an added advantage
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow structured processes
- Team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to visit retail stores.
- Proficiency in English (Mandarin is an added advantage)
