Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Sales Executive role based in Subang Jaya,Selangor. The Senior Sales Executive will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for integrated supply chain and logistics solutions, focusing on target accounts and strategic sectors. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting, qualifying leads, and conducting client meetings and presentations to preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and finalizing agreements. The role involves building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, monitoring customer satisfaction, and collaborating closely with operations, solutions design, finance, and marketing teams to ensure successful implementation and account growth. The Senior Sales Executive will track sales performance against targets, maintain accurate CRM records, analyze market trends and competitors, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategy considering TVS SCS capabilities and business plan to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Identify and jointly develop differentiators with internal stakeholders that will increase our new business acquisitions and retentions e.g. Tradelane specializations and solutions etc.
  • Identify and win new customer opportunities by developing a strong pipeline and executing the opportunity win plan well.
  • Establish and manage network of customer contacts in order to build relationships and trust between TVS SCS and the customer at various levels.
  • Drive strategies to establish value-creating partnerships with customers.
  • Transform discussions of potential opportunities into actionable future plans with customers.
  • Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Optimize GP and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Oversee coordination with relevant departments on meeting customers requirements.
  • Go through SOP with concerned operational parties to ensure that all understand the required processes.
  • Facilitate in resolving service issues with the customer as appropriate and requested.
  • Update all sales activities in Salesforce to ensure accurate and timely monthly sales reporting to the Country HOS and country/ global management.
  • Coordinate effective use of marketing collateral, materials and all customer related information with relevant team members in marketing and administration.
  • Ensure company policies & procedures, confidentiality, legal and ethical guidelines, such as Delegation of Authority are clearly communicated and adhered to.
  • Coach and guide internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and development.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or

a related discipline.

• At least 3 to 5 years of sales experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.

• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding operations, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight,

Import & Export procedures, Customs Clearance, and end to end logistics solutions.

• Proven track record in business development, customer acquisition, and achieving sales targets.

• Strong hunter mentality with the ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in

both local and international markets.

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build, manage, and maintain long term relationships with customers and key decision makers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM(CW1) systems.

• Self motivated, results driven, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment.

• Possess own transport and willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities.

Additional Information

Candidates with substantial industry experience and a proven track record of delivering business growth may be considered for a more senior position within the organization.
