About the role

The Senior Sales Executive responsible to manage business for the assigned trade retailers through strategic partnership & new business development, driving annual sales target achievement, build customer relationships, and effective in-store execution.

Key Activities

Sales Operations & Revenue Growth

  • Responsible and accountable for delivering sales target of the assigned retailers.
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations including order coordination, stock availability, and inventory management.
  • Proactively manage new product listings, maximize distribution and visibility.
  • Establish close liaison with internal Marketing/Trade Marketing to explore new products/ range optimization and other business opportunities, promotions, discounts, pricing, trade deals and online-offline related activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasting and work with supply chain to ensure stock availability and service levels.

Customer Relations Management

  • Drive strong in-store execution, including stock availability, merchandising, pricing and promotion compliance.
  • Independently manage relationships with assigned retailers, including regular visits and sales follow-ups
  • Support major retailer chains on account servicing, promotional alignment, and business reviews.
  • Execute negotiations with retailers to achieve distribution, visibility, and sales targets.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback from the field.

In-Store Execution & Sales Tracking

  • Drive strong in-store execution, including stock availability, merchandising, pricing and promotion compliance.
  • Work with merchandisers and promoters to maintain execution standards.
  • Implement key visibility drivers such as shelving, displays, events and promotional setups.
  • Conduct regular store checks and follow up on gaps to minimize lost sales.
  • Track and analyse sales & execution performance while identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor promotion effectiveness and provide feedback for future improvements.

Qualification

  • Recognised diploma / degree in Business Marketing or in other related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of strong sales track record in FMCG preferable in Pharmacy channel.
  • Good in Excel, Word and PowerPoint & presentation skills
  • Good negotiation skill with strong sales fundamentals and understanding of ordering processes.
  • Possesses basic Key Account Management capabilities.
  • Dynamic, result-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an advantage.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: be open to changing priorities and tasks that may be time sensitive.
