Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute an effective Offshore Solutions sales strategy within a regional and global market scope, and support ABB's market presence and long-term growth goals within the Energy Industries business.
On a day-to-day basis, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategies to meet both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and services. You will be accountable for ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
You will also demonstrate effective leadership by guiding, developing, and coaching the sales organization, including sales managers and sales specialists, enabling consistent and reliable results and reliable execution of large and complex offshore pursuits.
This role contributes to the Energy Industries - Offshore Solutions business in Southeast Asia, supporting global projects.
Key stakeholders include EPC contractors, asset owners, developers, internal proposal and engineering teams, project execution teams, and senior business leaders.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
Proactively anticipate potential performance shortfalls and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of individual order intake targets.
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective offshore customers across Malaysia-based global and local accounts.
Manage key Offshore Solution customer accounts across the full project lifecycle, including sales, execution support, and service engagement.
Support major global pursuits by coordinating closely with internal stakeholders to effectively position ABB's E-House, Electrical, Automation, and Digital solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers, acting as a trusted technical and commercial interface.
Define and execute competitive win strategies, including solution positioning, value proposition development, and vendor selection.
Prepare and manage tenders including costing, commercial terms, risk evaluation, and participation in negotiations with customers and vendors.
Apply ABB's standardized sales tools, processes, and governance frameworks (e.g., Salesforce, account plans, approval workflows), ensuring full compliance with ABB values, ethics, and integrity standards.

Qualifications for the Role
5-8 years of relevant experience in Energy Industries, including Oil & Gas, FPSO, Offshore Wind, or large LNG projects, with solid front-end sales exposure.
Demonstrated experience in E-House, Electrical, and Automation solutions, particularly for FPSO and large-scale offshore or LNG projects.
Demonstrated strategic thinking skills with an innovative mindset and effective communication, negotiation, listening, and presentation abilities.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
Solid understanding of commercial and legal terms, project risk management, and contract governance.
Demonstrated customer orientation, professional presence, and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and regions.
Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, reporting, and risk management.
Comfortable working across multiple countries, cultures, and business environments.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
