Job Description

An established trading company in the building raw materials industry is looking for a Senior Sales Manager (VP) to accelerate our next phase of growth. You will drive sales strategy, expand customer networks, and ensure operational excellence across the sales cycle. This role also leads a motivated team setting direction, elevating performance, and shaping our market position

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Target Management:

Develop sales team objectives based on company strategy and annual targets to achieve key metrics such as sales volume and profit margin.

Track team performance and sales data, analyze results, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, resolving cooperation issues (e.g., product customization, after-sales service) to drive repeat business.

Coordinate with internal departments (purchasing, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

Team Leadership & People Management:

Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to ensure clear goals, strong execution, and consistent performance.

Conduct regular reviews, provide direction on key accounts, and guide the team in problem-solving and customer handling.

Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the sales function.

Identify talent gaps, support hiring, onboarding, and capability development to build a strong, scalable sales team.

Sales Systems & Operations:

Assist in establishing and optimizing sales systems, workflows, and performance monitoring processes.

Develop incentive policies and sales processes aligned with market trends.

Monitor team activities, track progress of assigned tasks, and provide timely feedback.

Market Development & Project Support:

Collaborate with senior management on new market expansion, major project bidding, and resource allocation.

Support strategic initiatives such as market research, competitor analysis, and business planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree or above; preferred majors include Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in team management; top-performing sales experience preferred.

Prefers proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay (speaking, reading, and writing).

Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination abilities.

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations) and basic data analysis.
