- Salary Range: RM10,000.00 RM17,000.00

Job Description, Function & Responsibility:
1) Strategic Business Development Planning:
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Company's Unique Selling Propositions (USP) and differentiators.
- Perform territory management by prioritizing and managing customers and prospects organized by segments (such as geography, industry, and need).
- Prepare a strategic business plan on BD direction as and when requested by senior management.
2) New Business Opportunities (NBO) / Development:
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Plan for the team to carry out targeted cold calls as appropriate within the industry or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the Company's network.
- Identify potential clients and their decision-makers within the client organization.
What Makes You a Successful Applicant
- Possess at least a recognized University Degree in the relevant field of business studies. A Degree in Chemical Engineering is an added advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in Sales function with leadership capacity. Experience of at least five (5) years in the fertilizer trading/ distribution industry is a plus point.
- Possess a good command of Mandarin is essential for dealing with China counterparties
- Experience in managing a complete cycle of Sales activities from prospecting, selling, closing sales, planning for continuous improvement/ analysis, and Customer Relationship Management.
- Has solid competitiveness analysis on sales data to plan for sales strategies.
- Knowledge of supply chain management/logistics.
- Possess strong leadership and organizational skills such as excellent communication, collaboration, and motivation skills.
- Having built up its own network of counterparties throughout South East Asia over the years is preferable, but not essential.
- Extensive traveling is required within and out of the home country to carry out Business Development activities.
