Senior Salesforce Solution Consultant / Delivery Lead (Insurance Practice)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite at client office, remaining days Work-From-Home)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber, consulting-grade Senior Salesforce Solution Consultant / Delivery Lead to shape and drive end-to-end digital transformation initiatives for premier enterprise Insurance clients.

Positioned at the critical intersection of business strategy and technical execution, you will lead discovery workshops, architect scalable Salesforce environments, and steer complex delivery projects to completion. This role requires an individual who can command a room of executive stakeholders while ensuring technical compliance and delivery governance across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture
  • Architect and design robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that map directly to the strategic and operational goals of insurance enterprises.
  • Demonstrate multi-cloud design capability across at least three (3) Salesforce modules, including but not limited to: Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Revenue Cloud.
  • Define seamless integration architectures connecting Salesforce platforms with legacy core insurance applications, external systems, APIs, and middleware layers.
  • Evaluate and recommend Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) configurations versus custom development options, enforcing ecosystem best practices.
2. Presales & Proposal Development
  • Lead client-facing discovery sessions, diagnostic workshops, and high-impact solution presentations.
  • Own the creation of comprehensive solution proposals, functional implementation approaches, and precise resource/effort estimations.
  • Collaborate intimately with sales teams to nurture pipeline opportunities and effectively articulate complex value propositions.
3. Project Delivery & Governance
  • Take full ownership of project execution as the Team Lead or Project Manager, ensuring delivery parameters (scope, timeline, budget, and quality) are strictly honored.
  • Manage multifaceted stakeholder ecosystems across client business units, internal IT divisions, and external third-party vendors.
  • Proactively oversee, mitigate, and report on project risks, operational issues, and overall delivery governance frameworks.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:Minimum 8 years of dedicated professional experience within Salesforce implementation, technical presales, or professional IT consulting environments.
  • Domain Expertise:Proven, direct project delivery or architecture experience within the Insurance sector is a mandatory prerequisite.
  • Technical Familiarity: Strong architectural and engineering understanding of:
  • Apex, OmniStudio, and declarative platform capabilities.
  • Salesforce integration mechanisms (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and data architectures).
  • Advanced platform customization, data mapping, and governance models.
  • Consulting Prowess: Exceptional stakeholder management, executive presentation, and advisory consulting skills.
