Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead SAP Finance transformation and localization initiatives across Singapore and the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ECC/S/4HANA implementations, Singapore financial compliance, and global finance processes within the Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO (ECC/S/4HANA) implementation, rollout, and localization projects across Singapore and APAC.
- Configure and support Singapore localization, including GST, Withholding Tax, IRAS compliance, and statutory financial reporting.
- Design financial solutions for multi-party trade, intercompany billing, transfer pricing, multi-currency transactions, and cross-border operations.
- Collaborate with SD, MM, PP, and other functional teams to ensure seamless integration of finance, logistics, manufacturing, and sales processes.
- Optimize finance business processes and recommend best practices for SAP FICO.
- Ensure financial processes comply with Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and Life Sciences regulatory requirements.
- Partner with finance leaders and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Support testing, user training, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting and configuration experience.
- Proven experience delivering full-cycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementation projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore GST, Withholding Tax, IRAS compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), CO-PA, and Product Costing (CO-PC).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (Simple Finance) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of international trade, intercompany processes, transfer pricing, and multi-currency environments.
- Prior experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both business and technical teams.
- Candidates based in Malaysia or other locations should be willing to relocate to Singapore if selected.
