Job Title: SAP MM Consultant
Location: Malaysia (Onsite)
Duration: Contract 12 months extendable
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant for an onsite contract position in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP MM and proven expertise in S/4HANA environments. You must have completed at least 3 full end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects and demonstrate deep functional knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement SAP MM modules including:
- Procurement (P2P)
- Inventory Management (IM)
- Purchasing
- Invoice Verification
- Material Master Data Management
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system design and configuration
- Perform fit-gap analysis, system configuration, testing, documentation, and end-user training
- Support data migration, cutover activities, and go-live readiness
- Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SD, FICO, and WM
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in procurement and inventory processes
- Provide support during hypercare and post-go-live stabilization
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP MM
- 3+ full lifecycle implementations of SAP MM, including in S/4HANA
- Strong functional knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders, goods receipts, stock transfers, vendor master data, and pricing procedures
- Good understanding of taxation, account determination, and invoice processing
- Experience integrating MM with FICO, SD, and WM modules
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be based in Malaysia and available for onsite work
Nice to Have:
- Experience with S/4HANA Fiori apps related to MM
- Familiarity with Ariba, Fieldglass, or SRM
