We're looking for a Senior Software Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in Python (Django) and JavaScript who can take full ownership of the development lifecycle - from architecture to CI/CD rollout. You'll work directly with our founders and product leads, lead all development efforts, and ensure seamless deployment through GitHub Actions Docker environments. You will also guide junior developers and interns, set coding standards, and help drive the technical direction of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of ehs tools SaaS modules using Python (Django) and Vue.
- Fully own the deployment pipeline using GitHub Actions, Docker containerization, and production rollout workflows.
- Guide and mentor junior developers/interns; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Design and implement AI-powered features using OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok API, Gemini API, and vector DBs.
- Architect scalable APIs and optimize database schema design.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with Product and QA teams to deliver timely, high-quality releases.
- Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For
- 35 years of experience with Python (Django) and JavaScript (Vue/React)
- Strong command of REST APIs, ORMs, and database schema design
- Hands-on experience with Docker for development and deployment
- Experience using GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, Gemini, Pinecone/Qdrant)
- Strong architectural and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring junior developers
