Senior Software Engineer

To Support activities in Design, Development, Configuration and Testing for system changes, projects and initiatives and existing issues in BAU operations for both online (MQ & ACE/IIB) and batch (SSH/SFTP, MFT & Host-2-Host) integration of the respective sub-system's interconnecting interfaces

• To provide end-to-end solutions and design for system changes, projects and initiatives.
• Strong in people development, to lead development team members to support system changes
• To continue improving and optimizing the development and configuration process. To ensure system performance is not affected after implementation.
• Plan based on business and technology trends. Ensure the team delivered all assignment on agreed timeline and scope
• To prepare technical documentation according to the application and data model to meet the business functional requirements
• Design, Development and Maintenance of IAA and Sub-system XML Schemas and JSON Schemas
• Configuration & Testing of Request and Response Online Message Flows & Batch File Flows
• Endpoint Binding Configuration and Routing Configuration for both Online & Batch Flows
• Security (SSL / TLS) Configuration for both Online & Batch endpoint sub-systems
• Unit Testing and Integration Testing for both Online & Batch configurations
• Support End-to-End Configuration and Testing
• Support all BAU activities:
• Investigation and Resolution of BAU Issues reported by sub-system
• Evaluate Email Alerts from Monitoring scripts and Resolution support
• Troubleshooting and managing incidents
• Code Merging of different branches in BAU for Release and deployment
• Patch Management for DB, MQ, IIB, SSH/SFTP, MFT, H2H and OS patches
• Hardware EOL upgrade support for DB, MQ, IIB, SSH/SFTP, MFT, H2H and OS
• Software EOS upgrade support for DB, MQ, IIB, SSH/SFTP, MFT, H2H and OS
• SSL Certificate Renewal support
• Security Patch upgrade support
• Sub-system side upgrade support
• Network and SPOF upgrade support
• JDK version upgrade support
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people who

• 6+ years of overall experience in professional IT/Software engineering.
• 3+ years experience in IBM MQ, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / Integration Bus (IIB), IBM Connect Direct.
• Have experience in Axway MFT suite (Transfer CFT, CG/FM, Sentinel, Secure Transport & Edge).
• Have experience in Tectia SSH, J-Craft SSH, Shell Scripts for Unix, AS400, Wintel platforms.
• Have experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL & SQL, JMS, XML/XSD, JSON/REST, MongoDB, MySQL DB.
• Have experience in PGP, SLIFT, AES Encryption and related IT-Security skills.
• Good to have experience in Unix, Windows, and AS400 OS Shell scripting skills.
• Adaptable to fast-pace environment, self-driven and result-oriented. Good team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and possess initiative.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
