Senior Software Engineer PHP (Laravel)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel

Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations

Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and scalability

Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end to end solutions

Deploy and manage applications on AWS environments

Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues

Write clean, well documented, and maintainable code following best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 to 7 years of experience in backend development using PHP

Strong hands-on expertise in Laravel framework

Experience building and securing REST APIs

Hands on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar

Solid understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM concepts

Strong experience with Git and version control best practices

Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and scalability

Good analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills
