Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for experienced and passionate Engineers to join our team. You will have opportunities to work on multiple backend service clusters and participate in building machine learning pipelines. It is very important that our team members take the initiatives to identify problems and have the right mindset and skill sets to solve them. You will be reporting to Senior Software Engineering Manager.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

• You will design and write with the state of the art Go language to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our range of services
• You will have a thorough understanding of how to deploy performant cloud based backend services
• You will participating in both code and design review
• You will end-to-end development of your team's products including ownership of the team's infrastructure using Terraform, building and scaling fullstack solutions, designing efficient web interfaces and performing root cause analysis investigations
• You will be part of on-call for your team's products and services, and participate in post-mortems for any incidents
• You will work with product managers, data analysts and product designers to implement products and features, and test their impact to business metrics.
• You will working in a regional organization with offices across different countries and cultures and facilitating collaborating across these different teams.

Skills you need

• You have at least 5 years experience in software development.
• You have computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, multithreading and distributed systems, relational and non-relational databases
• You have proficient in at least one language commonly used for backend services development (C#, Java, C++, C), but willing to work on Golang and Rails
• You have shows a understanding of cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience.

Nice-to-haves:

• You have familiarity with running large-scale web services and understanding of systems internals and networking
• You have hands-on experience with Go programming language
• You have hands-on experience with Ruby (Rails)
• You have hands-on experience with AWS/Azure
• You have hands-on experience with Flink/Kafka
• You have hands-on experience with GraphQL
