Job Description

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.

Your role:

Owndesign,developand test software components for patient monitoring within the interoperability and connectivity scope.This includes implementation ofaframework to support third party device integrationwith our patient monitors.

Analyze software, functionalrequirements to design and develop highqualitysoftware.

Write efficient, maintainable code inC++ for embedded Linuxsystems followingbest practices and design patterns.

Implement unit andcomponenttests and develop automated test suites usingGoogleTest(GTest) and Gherkinbased BDD

Participate in an international Scrum team and engage in Scrum rituals, collaborating closely with device interoperability experts, software developers, and architects.

Adopt AI-enabled development tools anddemonstratemeasurable productivity improvements.

Support software lifecycle management activities includingdocumentation,sustaining engineering,defect resolution, and platform evolution.

Optimizeapplication performance byidentifyingand resolving bottlenecks in resource-constrained embedded Linux environments.

You're the right fit if:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical field.

10+ yearexperiencein embedded Linux withhands-on withadvanced C++(17/20/23).

Strong command of object-oriented programming, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.

Good to have experience inInteroperability using HL7/FHIR/IEEE 11073 SDC in clinical environments.

Experience with technical documentation, code reviews, and compliance with medical software development processes (e.g., IEC 62304).

Experience withunit testing framework,Python,Gtest,Gherkin, andBehaviourDriven Development (BDD) forcomponenttesting and automation.

Communication protocols -TCP/UDP,HTTP/HTTPS,WebSockets,RS-232 protocol.

Security-by-design:Threat modelling,TLS, certificate management,vulnerability management.

Tooling: Git, ADO/GitHub,Visual Studio, VS Code,CMake, unit/integration testing, static/dynamic analysis.

Nice to have:gRPC/Protobuf, MQTT, Python for tooling/test harnesses, exposure to FDA/EU MDR expectations.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
