Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements. Conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including but not limited to R&D, Operations, and Finance, to understand their sourcing needs and align strategies accordingly.
Supplier Diversity and Sustainability: Drive initiatives to enhance supplier diversity and sustainability, aligning with PerkinElmer's commitment to corporate responsibility.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
Proven experience (5-10 years) in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a global organization.
Proficiency with sourcing and procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba) and the MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills).
