Job Summary
Responsible for leading Network OPEX planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost performance management to support business and EBITDA objectives. The role drives cost optimization initiatives, provides strategic financial insights to senior leadership, and collaborates across Network, Finance, and Procurement teams to deliver operational efficiency and sustainable cost performance.
The Day-To-Day Activities
Network OPEX Planning & Budgeting
- Lead end-to-end Network OPEX strategy, planning, and budgeting aligned with enterprise priorities and EBITDA targets.
- Drive alignment of Network OPEX targets with cost efficiency and margin objectives.
- Challenge and influence cost assumptions, demand forecasts, and business trade-offs with senior stakeholders.
- Lead governance of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly outlooks, and rolling forecasts to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial objectives.
Cost Monitoring
- Manage Network OPEX performance and translate insights into actionable cost improvement initiatives.
- Identify key cost drivers and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accruals in collaboration with Finance for effective financial reporting and cost tracking.
- Provide insights on site performance and cost efficiency to support operational and investment decisions.
Cost Optimization
- Lead Network-wide cost optimization and transformation initiatives to improve long-term financial sustainability.
- Develop cost models and benchmarking frameworks to support data-driven planning and continuous improvement.
Strategic Advisory & Leadership
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to the CTO and senior leadership on cost, investment, and performance decisions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive collaboration across Network, Finance, and Procurement teams.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline, with strong background in financial analysis and business performance management.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly preferred, reflecting advanced technical expertise and professional credibility.
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience, including leading financial strategy, cost optimisation, or large-scale FP&A in complex organisations.
- Proven track record of operating in senior stakeholder environments, with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive alignment on financial and operational decisions.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment business-aligned outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
