Key responsibilities in your new role
- Demand and Supply Alignment: Serve as the primary interface between PSS business divisions and operations teams to align demand forecasts with production capabilities, ensuring sufficient capacity is secured.
- Capacity Analysis & Planning: Perform regular bottleneck analyses and monitor capacity loading across short-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons, ensuring back-end resources are fully utilized.
- Investment Optimization: Drive optimization of capital expenditure (CapEx) by critically evaluating and justifying equipment investment requests to meet demand and forecast requirements.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Partner closely with supply chain planning, Operations Planning & Controlling (OPC), and external subcontractors (OSATs) to resolve capacity constraints or supply challenges. Act as the interface to central planning functions and collaborate with expert teams to address planning system issues.
- Escalation Management: Coordinate escalations and involve higher management levels when necessary. Prepare and deliver regular updates to management on key issues and progress.
- Data and Process Improvement: Leverage data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to generate reports, identify process gaps, and lead initiatives to enhance internal planning processes and tools.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 13+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities. Proficiency with ERP systems, capacity modeling, and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions in an international environment. Demonstrated self-motivation, proactive mindset, and strong work ethic.
