About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our Transaction Banking team at RHB. In this role, you will be a key driver in executing our merchant partnership strategies, focusing on expanding our footprint in digital payment acceptance. You will work closely with third-party vendors, solution providers, and retail partners to integrate payment ecosystems, drive CASA growth, and enhance operational efficiency for merchants.
What You Will Be Doing
- Strategic Partnership Management: Engage and maintain strong partnerships with third-party vendors and solutions providers (e.g., POS partners, payment facilitators, mall operators) to leverage their ecosystems for merchant referrals
- Merchant Acquisition & CASA Growth: Manage the end-to-end process—from lead generation and discovery to sales pitches and merchant onboarding—to drive CASA openings and deposits
- Value Proposition Co-creation: Identify and co-develop value propositions with strategic partners to expand RHB's reach within targeted merchant segments
- Go-to-Market Execution: Co-create and execute joint-calling engagements, networking events, and marketing campaigns to drive digital payment adoption and encourage CASA linkage
- Performance Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date pipeline to track partner-sourced opportunities, evaluate partner performance against conversion targets, and analyze merchant usage behavior
- Sales Enablement & Training: Act as the primary liaison to internal stakeholders and external partners, delivering structured training on merchant onboarding workflows and value propositions
- Market Intelligence: Provide actionable feedback on merchant behavior, competitive offerings, and partner capabilities to refine our merchant acquisition strategies
- Operational Support: Support the Squad Lead in data analysis, documentation of product specifications, and the creation of reports and presentations for both internal and external communication
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in Transaction Banking, Merchant Acquiring, or Partnership management within the financial services sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, create process maps, and translate complex technical requirements into actionable sales plans
- Demonstrated success in managing B2B sales pipelines, meeting aggressive acquisition targets, and driving digital payment adoption
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage partners, present performance reports, and deliver effective training
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
