Senior Specialist, Tech Audit

Job Description

• Plan and perform end-to-end IT and technology audits, including risk assessment, testing and reporting.
• Review areas such as cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, IT governance, systems, data management and business continuity.
• Ensure audits comply with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines and industry standards.
• Use tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL and Python for audit analysis and reporting.
• Prepare clear audit findings and reports for management.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to identify risks and improve controls.
• Support audit projects, investigations and special reviews when required.
• Guide junior team members and ensure quality audit documentation.
• Recommend improvements in audit processes, automation and technology risk management.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CRISC or AWS are an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk or related areas, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Good knowledge of IT audit frameworks, risk assessments and Agile audit methods.
• Familiar with cloud technologies (AWS), DevOps, API security and data governance.
• Knowledge of BNM RMiT, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT and ITIL is preferred.
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python or other analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
