About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Senior Specialist, Transaction Banking Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales 1 to join our Transaction Banking team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving cash management solutioning, portfolio growth, and client engagement across corporate and commercial customers. You will take ownership of identifying working capital needs, leading customer discussions, and delivering tailored cash management solutions while working closely with Relationship Managers and internal partners.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategy & Planning
- Build deep understanding of customers business needs, footprint, and decision-making processes
- Lead the identification of client working capital requirements, engage key decision-makers, develop solutions, and support or lead client pitches
- Plan and execute customer engagements, serving as a key point of contact for customers and Relationship Managers
- Take full ownership of cash utilization and portfolio growth for assigned existing and new customers
Sales & Marketing
- Engage new customers and design customized cash management solutions based on their business needs
- Conduct detailed discussions with customers to identify cash management requirements and operational pain points
- Develop solution proposals and presentation materials, including new ideas to enhance customer value
- Execute client value propositions, solutions, and product bundling for target customers
- Collaborate closely with Business Circles, Product Squads, and Service Partner / Operations to ensure effective delivery of solutions
- Create and maintain accurate pipeline reports to monitor sales progress and deal closure
- Conduct or coordinate product training sessions and client engagement events when required
People & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including GCBB/CCM RMs, Product Squads, Service Partner / Operations, and Branches to drive sales and origination activities
- Provide feedback on market developments, competitor offerings, and capability gaps to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement
- Organize and participate in regular account planning sessions and portfolio reviews with GCBB/CCM RMs
Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to the Bank's product guidelines, policies, procedures, and internal processes
- Comply fully with BNM regulations and all mandatory Bank e-Learning requirements, including customer information management, personal data protection, responsible financing, fair treatment of financial customers, and governance on fees and charges
- Consistently achieve strong audit and compliance outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in transaction banking, cash management, corporate/commercial banking, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of cash management products and working capital solutions
- Strong client engagement, presentation, and solutioning skills
- Good analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders
- Results-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
