Senior Staff Engineer

Job Description

Requirements: - 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of scaling distributed systems to 100K-500K+ users. - Deep expertise with PostgreSQL, including replication, connection pooling, query optimization, and schema evolution at scale. - Hands-on experience building production-grade Apache Flink streaming pipelines: windowing, state management, checkpointing, and backpressure handling. - Proficiency with Apache Spark for batch ETL, large-scale joins, and ML feature engineering workflows. - Experience operating columnar OLAP engines such as StarRocks, ClickHouse, or Druid in production for real-time analytics. - Strong Python engineering skills, production-quality service development with async frameworks, testing, and observability. - Proficiency in microservices design patterns, skills, API gateways, service discovery, circuit breaking, and distributed tracing. - Solid GCP experience: BigQuery, Dataflow, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and IAM at enterprise scale. Nice to Have: - Experience with process intelligence, RPA, or enterprise workflow analytics platforms. - Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tooling in a modern data stack is required. - Background in AI/ML-adjacent infrastructure feature stores, model serving pipelines, or vector databases.
