Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- As technical program manager, candidate must be able to work independently and as a team player in conjunction with world-wide OSAT and also cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure timely and flawless execution of qualification projects.
- Responsible for providing BE assembly technical assessment, process flow, build of material (BOM) and bonding diagram (BD) review for package qualification plan in project feasibility
- Package qualification alignment with subcontractor packaging technology roadmap to ensure future production sustainability of qualified package.
- Coordinates company technical projects with subcontractor and is the point of contact for design review, project timeline, characterization requirements, qualification progress and internal/external documentations readiness.
- Ensure smooth transition of qualified device/package from qualification stage through high volume manufacturing (HVM) by upfront effective risk assessment to mitigate potential risk from assembly characterization, risk build and initial production release.
- Develops, deliver technical presentations and design generation required for project launch, execution till implementation.
- Qualify and implement subcontractor change control, resolves any foreseeable technical issues, fulfil internal change documentations requirements and approval process.
- Prepares and participate in subcontractor audits and factory visits when required.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in the assembly process of semiconductor back-end production and exposure to subcontractor industry.
- Relevant technical experience within the BE assembly semiconductor industry especially subcontractor environment.
- Possess good knowledge and hands-on experience in assembly front offline processes. Substrate material knowledge is an added advantage.
- Knowledge on DOE, reliability requirements, material selection, DFMEA, Failure Analysis and other quality and statistical tools.
- Self-driven and has excellent problem resolution and organizational skills and managing on-going and future programs with subcontractor.
- Has initiative and demonstrate excellent follow-up on active programs with multiple subcontractor.
- Able to communicate and present effectively in small and large groups.
- Able and willing to travel as needed
