Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Orchestrate global logistics warehouse communities by aligning business needs, concepts, and governance frameworks, while acting as the first-level support for key users worldwide
- Drive global process excellence by leading harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing warehouse processes in close collaboration with process owners and key users
- Evaluate and prioritize global requirements by consolidating inputs from sites and clusters, assessing business impact, effort, and overall value for end-to-end process optimization
- Support solution design activities by guiding IT and external solution providers to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable and standardized process solutions
- Coordinate and execute testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), in collaboration with key users and IT to ensure high-quality and robust implementations
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects in the area of manufacturing warehouse processes, structuring initiatives, driving decisions in complex environments, and ensuring alignment with global logistics strategy
- Act as a change agent by driving adoption of best practices, facilitating knowledge sharing across global warehouse communities, and promoting standardized processes
- Ensure process transparency and capability building by maintaining up-to-date process documentation and delivering targeted trainings for users and relevant stakeholders
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Several years (5+ years) of professional experience in supply chain and / or warehouse processes, ideally in a global manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in SAP, preferably SAP EWM, with a solid understanding of end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes
- Proven experience in driving process improvements, standardization, and harmonization across multiple sites or regions
- Familiarity with global governance models and process frameworks
- A thorough understanding of supply chain interdependencies, with the ability to balance global standards with local requirements
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration, including working with IT and managing implementations or enhancements
- A strong problem-solving mindset, combined with excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence different organizational levels and work effectively in cross-cultural environments
- Experience with digitalization initiatives (e.g., automation, analytics, warehouse technologies)
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
