Role Overview
As a Senior Storage & IT Solution Expert, you will serve as the Strategic Spearhead for our regional IT infrastructure business. You will be responsible for engaging with C-suite executives (CIOs/CTOs) and senior decision-makers across various countries to build deep technical trust and secure high-stakes projects.
This is not a traditional back-end technical role; it is a high-impact, customer-facing position that requires a blend of sophisticated solution architecture, strategic storytelling, and the ability to institutionalize success by transforming field experience into scalable sales methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Touch Executive Engagement
- Act as the primary technical authority in high-level dialogues with key accounts, articulating the business value of complex IT architectures.
- Build and maintain long-term technical influence with client stakeholders to position our brand as a Trusted Advisor rather than just a vendor.
2. Strategic Project Conquest (Must-Win Deals)
- Lead the technical strategy for large-scale, complex projects (e.g., Data Center Modernization, AI-Ready Infrastructure, or Multi-Cloud Storage).
- Drive competitive benchmarking and differentiation strategies to ensure technical win-loss ratios exceed regional targets.
3. Sales Methodology & Playbook Development
- Scenario-Based Strategy: Analyze successful cases to distill Sales Playbooks for specific scenarios (e.g., AFA Transition, Ransomware Protection, or High-Performance Computing).
- Enablement: Act as a mentor to local account teams, conducting workshops and war room sessions to uplift the overall solution-selling capabilities of the representative offices.
4. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop
- Synthesize regional market trends and competitor movements to provide actionable insights to Product Management and R&D for future roadmap alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the IT industry, with a proven track record in Storage, Cloud Infrastructure, or Enterprise Data Centers. Experience in top-tier global IT vendors is highly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: * Deep expertise in Enterprise Storage (AFA, Distributed Storage, SDS), Virtualization, and Hybrid Cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern workloads such as Big Data, AI/ML infrastructure, or Mission-Critical Database environments.
- Soft Skills:
- Consultative Selling: Ability to translate bits and bytes into dollars and cents for executive audiences.
- Exceptional Communication: Fluent in English (additional regional languages are a plus). Must be a compelling public speaker.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and create structured methodologies from unstructured field data.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region to support local offices on short notice.
